I guess you couldd be friends with him if you really think he’s worth it, but if he made a “big mistake” im not sure becoming friends would be a good idea, especially since he still likes you and the friendship could turn into something pretty awkward. Just tell him that you don’t like him anymore and that he made a mistake, and that you’re sorry. Maybe you can be friends in a little while, once he gets over you. Good luckk!
